The Art of Successful Nonprofit Leadership
It takes a lot more than business know-how to lead a vital community cause to higher ground in its service to others. This workshop examines how small groups of people have changed the world, the roles that effective boards play in evolving and advancing causes that change and enrich lives, and the basic tenets of building a sustainable reservoir of community resources. This interactive presentation will challenge participants to embrace a vision for themselves as leaders of causes, managers of community processes, stewards of community generosity, and facilitators of productive political processes to advance themselves, society, and their organization. If you’ve been looking for a learning lab that is aimed at rejuvenating your passion and celebrating the unique talents of the successful nonprofit leader, this session has been designed especially for you.
