They touch every resident and every business owner.\n\nBetween busy schedules and secondhand updates\, though\, it isn't always easy to get the full picture. That's the idea behind City Conversations: a chance to sit down over lunch\, hear directly from city leadership\, ask your own questions\, and walk away better informed. With local elections coming up in November\, the timing couldn't be better.\n\n \n\nBringing people together is at the heart of what the Chamber does\, and we can't think of a better way to do it than putting residents\, business owners\, and city leaders at the same table.\n\n \n\nOur mayors and council members are elected to set the vision and priorities for our cities. The city manager works hand in hand with them to bring that vision to life. They oversee the budget\, city staff\, daily operations and services\, keep major projects moving forward\, and provide continuity from year to year. That day-to-day view makes them a great person to explain what's happening in your city and why it matters.\n\n \n\nCity Manager Kerry Kallman will provide an update on the financial outlook for the City of Palos Verdes Estates\, including current budget challenges\, long-term fiscal sustainability\, public safety funding\, and other initiatives being pursued to strengthen City revenues. He will also present an informational overview of Measure PVE and answer questions about the City's financial future and service priorities.
