Some of our most dedicated neighbors are right up the hill on Hawthorne Boulevard. The Salvation Army College for Officer Training at Crestmont has called Rancho Palos Verdes home for decades, operating on a beautiful 44-acre campus where the next generation of community servants is trained. Cadets come here with a singular purpose: to become full-time ministers equipped to serve people in need — and that service extends far beyond our peninsula. The Salvation Army's mission is to meet human needs without discrimination, and Crestmont is where that commitment takes root. We're proud to call them part of our community.
